Srivilliputtur near Tirunelveli Deities: Andal, Vadapatrasayee-Rangamannar (Vishnu) This temple belongs to the 8th century AD and enshrines Andal, the divine Vaishnaviite saintess and Vadapatrasayee Vishnu in a reclining posture. This temple has imposing towers and exquisite wood and stone carvings. This is the birthplace of Andal. The divine couple Andal and Rangamannar are the processional idols here.
