Kambahareswarar Temple at Tribhuvanam near Kumbakonam

Deities: Kambahareswarar (Shiva)

This is a spectacular temple built in the period of the later Cholas. The sculptured panels and the murals are of great artistic value here. The temple seems to be a blend of the Tanjavur and Darasuram temples.
