being made this year as an ancient tradition at the mammoth
Madhyarjunesvara temple in
Tiruvidaimarudur is being revived after a gap of three
fourth of a century. The revival of the chariot festival
brings a diverse community together in a celebration and opens up
the possibility for the revival of various art forms.
