dedicated to the presiding Goddess at the Sree Sailam
Mallikarjuna temple is attributed to Aadi Sankaracharya. |
The Annapurnashtakam
composed by Aadi Sankaracharya is in praise of Annapoorani at Kashi (Benares). |
Sringeri is a well known
pilgrimage site in Karnataka. The original image of Saradamba is said
to have been installed by Aadi Sankaracharya in the 1st millennium CE. |
